Your Role:

As a MSL/KAM, reporting to the Chief Operations Officer, you will support both commercial and medical activities, developing strategic partnerships with hospitals and healthcare professionals. Your responsibilities will include:

  • Key Account Management (KAM):
  • Develop and manage relationships with key stakeholders in hospitals, including decision-makers, healthcare professionals, and pharmacists.
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for hospital accounts, providing information about our product portfolio.
  • Identify new business opportunities (tender application) to maximize market share.

 

  • Medical Science Liaison (MSL):
  • Engage with key opinion leaders (KOLs) and healthcare professionals to communicate scientific information about our products and therapeutic areas.
  • Organize and lead scientific presentations, symposia, and educational events, sharing clinical data and fostering evidence-based practice.
  • Gather insights on clinical trends, treatment practices, and unmet needs to support internal decision-making.
  • Contribute to the development of medical and commercial strategies, ensuring they meet the needs of the Swiss healthcare market.
  • Support the launch of new products by developing tools for both commercial and scientific expertise.

 

Your Profile:

  • Advanced degree in a scientific field (PharmD, MD, PhD, or MSc) with a strong foundation in medical science, clinical research, and pharmacology.
  • Previous experience as a Medical Science Liaison (MSL) or in a similar medical affairs role within the pharmaceutical industry, with a focus on building scientific partnerships.
  • Ability to engage in scientific discussions with healthcare professionals and key opinion leaders (KOLs), sharing clinical data and therapeutic insights.
  • A solid understanding of the pharmaceutical landscape, with an appreciation for commercial aspects, including product positioning and strategic account management.
  • Exceptional communication, presentation, and relationship-building skills, with the ability to navigate both commercial and medical conversations.
  • Language proficiency in French, German and English.
